There is no one-size-fits-all secret recipe, but you can implement strategies with proven track records, and get pro eyes on your business to help create a more linear path to sustainable profitability, rather than starting from scratch.
There is no award for the “person who worked the hardest to achieve success”. I’ve checked. No one wants it.

I’m dedicated to fueling the growth of creative, heart-driven brands to propel their businesses to new levels of success and influence, through helping them relay that person-to-person experience of connection into the online sphere.
Some good things came out of it though. I ended up becoming massively adaptable, inquisitive, open to new things, people and experiences, and it sure got rid of the shyness I had when I was a kid!
I honestly never knew what I wanted to “be when I grew up” but I always knew that I cared deeply for people and wanted to be a positive force in the world.
I ended up going to school for interior design (which is why I’m still obsessed with aesthetics) and then fumbled my way into marketing in 2009 when I moved to Montreal to chase a man. (Apparently, uprooting and starting again didn’t stop when I was able to make my own decisions.)
I gotta hand it to him though, if it weren’t for him modelling success to me for 14 years, I wouldn’t be here today. We started 3 businesses together including an agency that specializes in digital marketing solutions for the salon & spa industry. I’ve lived the ups and downs of entrepreneurship for 14+ years and I know the grit and determination that goes into building something sustainable.
In 2020, I sold my company shares, packed up my life once more, and moved to Nova Scotia to become my own person. After spending my entire life adapting to the people and places I had lived with/in, it was time for me to figure out who I was as an individual and what kind of legacy I wanted to leave behind. I had no job, no connections, and no clue where this next chapter would take me.
But I knew in my gut it was the right thing to do.
In less than a year of moving, I started my own online business in my new home and offered my services for free to build my name. 18 months after that, I was named Best New Business of the Year by the Annapolis Valley Chamber Business Awards 2023. I’m financially independent, living my rich life, & surrounded by a supportive community that allows me to share my gifts, experience, & to truly flourish.
I have never felt more at home.
My heart belongs to wholehearted people who seek to build inclusive, bear-hug-giving, thriving communities where people get to be themselves, and be celebrated for it.
I grew up as a minister’s kid, which means I pretty much spent my life moving, adapting to new surroundings, making new friends, building a new community, and then being uprooted and starting it all over again.
It was not my idea of a good time.
